This is a top quality reproduction of a German WW2 belt buckle pull tab. These tabs in this listing are of natural leather that has not been dyed in any way. With time and handling the tabs will take on a more darker color tone. These buckle tabs were added to the buckle so that the buckle could be pulled on the belt for size adjustment. As well these tabs would have the buckle makers mark on them. During some time by the mid war period the tabs were discontinued to save on leather. You will need to sew the tab on the buckle by hand. The stitches that are there now were made to make the holes in the leather to simplify the hand sewing work. Use a large needle and thick tread or even dental floss.
