This is a listing for one top quality aged reproduction of a German WW2 belt buckle pull tabs marked 1940 that have been aged. These buckle tabs were added to the buckle so that the buckle could be pulled on the belt for size adjustment. As well these tabs would have the buckle makers mark on them. During some time by the mid war the tabs were discontinued to save on leather. The color tone of the leather varies a bit as per the photos. You will need to sew the tab on the buckle by hand. The stitch holes that are there now were made to simplify the hand sewing work. Use a large needle and thick tread or even unwaxed dental floss.
