This is a reproduction of a German WWII standard 700ml infantry canteen cover. It is Czech made using a Czech cold war cover and modified to be like the WW2 German cover. It is $8.50 to ship this item anywhere in Europe and just $7.50 to ship this item anywhere in the US, Australia, NZ, Canada and most places in Asia.
Do note that these covers did fit rather tightly. It will most likely be the case that the cover will not be a case of “fit and play”. If the cover does not go easily over your canteen then you may need to do this. Place the cover over the canteen as it will fit without forcing it. Then wet the cover completely with ONLY room temperature water. This will make the fabric stretchable and you should be able to slowly stretch the cover over the canteen and close all the snaps. Once the snaps are closed sponge all the excess water with an old towel and let drip dry, Do not apply any heat to speed the drying process. You can sponge the canteen from time to time with the towel to remove the water that will settle towards the bottom of the canteen cover.
